In Bihar’s newly formed government, Deepak Prakash has been appointed as a minister despite not contesting any Assembly seat. His nomination follows a seat-sharing arrangement involving Upendra Kushwaha’s party as part of the NDA alliance. Under constitutional rules, he must become a member of either the Assembly or the Council within six months.
